Male Arrested x2 Robbery

Good Evening All,

Hope you are all enjoying recent sun that we have been having over the weekend.

In the midst of a busy weekend in Manchester, with large events such as Oasis going on over the weekend, as well as the events ongoing in the Northern Quarter.

As you maybe aware their has been a large police presence to ensure order and safety during this weekend, however Northern Quarter officers have also been on patrol conducting regular sweeps of the area to prevent ASB / drug use etc.

Whilst on patrol yesterday PC Barnwell 07808 has been on patrol around Dale Street, where he has detained an known male juvenile linked to Robberies within the city centre. This male has since been arrested and bailed in regard to the incidents.

Northern Quarter officers will continue to conduct patrol around the area this weekend with further patrols out today for another day of Sun and Music.
